Only did so much of beading work
My shoulder and neck are almost fully recovered, except for a little bit of soreness that no longer affects me carrying out household chores.
Still didn’t achieve much in my bead projects this week, but have learned to do circular netting. The one I did is just a small piece of circular net made with small sead beads, for practice purposes only. I suppose if larger beads are used and if I keep weaving the net, I should be able to come up with a beaded cup coaster or a round place mat even.

Didn’t bother to tie a knot and trim away the remaining fishing line coz I’m just practicing the circular netting beading technique
I’m also in the midst of weaving a seed bead flower. As you can see, it’s not completed yet. I seem to take ages to finish this!
A mess! Fishing lines flying all over due to a mistake I made - didn’t use the right length of fishing line in the beginning!
The technique to create a beaded flower is not complicated, just that my problem is that I don’t have the proper tools to do things more efficiently. I’m not using a beading needle and beading thread; instead I’m using 0.25 mm fishing line. May be I need a finer fishing line to able it to pass through the tiny beads several times. I’m stuck at this stage is because I can’t seem to insert the fishing line into the next bead, and it is straining my eyes, too.
Anyway, this is more of a practice than making a ready-to-wear piece. Also, I’ve ordered beading needles and nymo thread from eBay merchants more than a week ago, I think the goods are on their way now!
