Beads and Wires

Jeez, I have deserted this blog for almost a month! It’s fortunate that I didn’t see any cactus growing in this blog, haha!

As usual, I had been busy with work and traveled a bit with hubby. Glad that I managed to complete 2 bracelet projects - one using Swarovski crystal pearls and seed beads, and one with various shapes of Czech glass beads - and a pair of earrings using Czech beads as well.

This bracelet is made using a very simple beading technique. It’s basically a right angle weave using double thread stringing method.

This three-strand bracelet is made with by stringing different shapes of Czech glass beads and attached to a sliding clasp. A pair of matching earrings were made from the same materials. No special jewelry making technique involved here, just simple stringing and linking work. Sometimes a simple strand of bracelet or necklace can look very beautiful and elegant by using the right combination of beads.
