Swarovski crystal bracelets - finally done
I think this blog is going to gather moss if I don’t update it now! Haha!
Work has taken up a lot of my time, err, actually ALL of my time in the past 2 weeks. I even had to stay up for 24 hours to get work done to meet a deadline!
Good news is, my project was completed last week and the next deadline is still some time away, so I will have some time to get involved with my beads, hehe. And, I have finally finished up the long pending bracelet project. Even better, I made two bracelets over the weekend!
So here they are. I think they are both truly sparkling beauties.

This one is a modification of Fiori Necklace from bead jewelry designer Jean Campbell, published in the beading magazine Beadwork, April/May 2009 issue.
There were a focal bezel and several crystal flowers in the original design. I reduced it down to only one flower for a bracelet. All bicone crystals are Swarovski Crystals, the centre round bead of the flower is also Swarovski crystal bead. Other round beads are normal glass crsytal beads.
Techniques involved: brick stitch and right-angle weave.

This one is originally called “X’s and O’s”, a design from bead jewelry designer Deborah Farrand, published in magazine Brilliant Crystal Jewelry 2, a Bead & Button special issue. I followed exactly her design, except that mine is shorter and is composed of my personal choice of colors. All crystal bicones and crystal pearls are Swarvoski’s.
I call my version Caterpillar, because I think it really looks like one, haha! And I think it has a ‘Christmasy’ feel.
Techniques involved: right-angle weave and cross-weaving.
