Swarovski crystal beaded ring
This is my first attempt in making beaded ring using Swarovski crystals and seed beads.

I learned to make this from a book (written in Chinese) that specifically teaches to make beaded rings, mostly with Swarovski crystals and pearls.
This one is made from Swarovski crystals (color: smoked topaz) and seed beads. It is probably the easiest to start with and using the least number of crystals. Still, I wished had two more pairs of eyes to help me with the instruction diagram!
Again, this involved passing through beading thread (I was using nylon fishing line) through the beads more than once. So, for a person with clumsy fingers and was not using beading needle, I think you can imagine how stressful this was for the eys and the fingers. Haha!
Well, at least I know I can make a Swarovski crystal beaded ring now, and I probably will make another one using different colored Swarovski crystals and seed beads.

May be when I’m free and not in the mood to bead, :P, I will create a not-so-professional diagram to show how to make the ring.

Hi Mary! Finding time for my beading activity these days is already a challenge, don’t think I’m able to prepare a tutorial post for the time being.

Hi,
Just started the art of Swarovski crystal beaded rings. I’ve never used a beading needle….should I ? Will it make my life easier ? what do you suggest.
thanks

Hi Nellie,
I did not use a beading needle for this project, as I was using a nylon fishing line. From what I read from books so far, making beaded rings like this is the easiest and uses the least tools. All you need is the right size or fishing line, plus a pair of good eyes and not-so-clumsy fingers!
